Knots & Extreme Rips

Wednesday, 2 September 2015

Top - Asos (similar from Missguided)
Jeans - IntheStyle

Mother has dragged me on holiday with her for the next 4 days. Yes, I mean literally dragged. I have so much that needs to be done before school starts and things to enjoy at home with my son as its his 6th birthday today, having a holiday right now is a huge inconvenience as strange as that may seem!

After loosing so much weight, I lost a lot of my favourite jeans. I literally only had two pairs for 8 months, first world problems. Its not actually a crisis to be honest but I felt limited and one out the two pairs of jeans were starting to loose quality. My point is, looking out for new jeans was on the horizon. After spotting a fellow blogger in these extreme ripped jeans I was totally mesmerised but for me, having only £50 a month for hair, beauty and clothes, £30 still seemed a lot when you have to stretch that dollar. I always keep things I want on my phone in the safari app tabs and what'do'know they were reduced to £15 after a week. Still having no money, I pounced at the chance and took it out of general expenditure, such as bills (with intentions of putting back after payday of course haha) and I am happy with these babies. I bought a size 8 which is slightly tight on the bum and not assign hugging tight unfortunately but the waist is just right, so I don't care. Their a £15 bargain and I adore them!

The top is a thorough disappointment! On the website it was a nude pink, the kind I adore! Again I jumped at the chance of this gorgeous top, however, as it arrived I found it was a salmon pink! Bleugh. I like the colour, just not on me... It doesn't look very salmon in the pictures but trust me it is. Apart from the style of the top, its not for me. However Missguided sell the same top (cheaper too) in nude but it looks more of a mink purple? is that right? a mauve I think is right, but its certainly better then salmon, so I'm on it :p

Thanks for reading :)

Inverted stripes?

Thursday, 12 March 2015

Top - H&M (similar currently in Primark or Tosphop)
Skirt - Primark
Shoes - Asos
Hat - Topshop

Ooo I adore this summer stripy outfit! Its just one of those outfits that makes me feel great, makes me feel confident! A lovely bodycon bottom half and a floaty overlay top both in opposite stripes. My kind ting :P haha I was going to wear my usual black fedora but I felt that this big floppy hat gave the outfit more of a balance in its UMPHH power, so to speak, and adds to the summer vibes :) The lace up flatforms also give the outfit that kind of BOOOM SHAKE SHAKE THE ROOM power haha, sexy and comfort in one is all about this outfit.

Funny really, I don't know what quit to write... usually with cons I could talk for days buts I have nothing bad to say about this attire, its all absolutely fabulous and I am so pleased I discovered it! Blogging days give me chance to explore my own wardrobe, otherwise I would just never bother. I would be lazy and sit on the sofa watching Disney films haha best way to spend your day off though!!

My 23rd Birthday OOTD

Thursday, 26 February 2015

Top - Topshop
Real Leather Skirt - American Apparel
Shoes - Asos (sold out & rare)
Hat - Primark

Wahey I'm a year older on the 28th of Feb, 23! Well I am actually born on a leap year so technically I am only 5 years old still, which is great excuse when I am acting immaturely hehe, but don't think I am immature! I am as real as the earth beneath us when it comes to the serious stuff in life.
Most people question my choice of date for my birthday when its not a leap year "Shouldn't it fall to the 1st of March?" Well! I am born in February and so I shall stay in Februrary. So MEH to you lovey.

I bought this gorgeous sequin top around christmas time at a very pricey price! £55! AHHHH
but I just couldn't say no! It so minimal in its colour and I see a lot of colourful sequin things these days that don't really catch my desire apart from the sequin. The top is part of a two piece and is the same as a sequin dress I posted in January.

The skirt is real leather from American Apparel. I bought this over a year ago for a whopping £150! I think the most I have ever spent on an item before but so worth it as I find it hard to get a good faux leather body con fit. Sadly I bought this when I was a size 12, so the sexual fit just isn't the same as I have unfortunately dropped to an 8. So so gutted, especially with the price!
