This dress!!! Im over the moon!!! I have been loving this dress for a very long time and unfortunately it was out of my price range (£40) and also not available at my local Topshop store so I couldn't get it on uniform either. I was watching it online and a size 8 came, went searching for it but I couldn't find it in store. I then saw it a few times on the last chance rail but that was moved about upstairs in the stock room a lot as there wasn't a lot of room on the floor during that time. I gave up on it mainly because of the expense. However.. shopping for uniform one day I saw it hanging at the back of some other items, so I grabbed it to try it on, hoping I would be put off it but its just so perfect!!! Eventually I convinced myself to buy it despite being out of my clothes budget at the time. GUESS WHAT HAPPEN!!! Got to the till and it came up as £25!! because it was in the sale!!!! How lucky am I! I was beyond happy, beyond being over the moon, haha I honestly can't explain it.

I love this piece because of its colour and because its something you can literally just whack on, add some accessories and it looks amazing! I would love some tan knee high sandals with it, how hot would that be!? It is slightly see through but wearing nude/white undies makes it all goooood :D

I added my favourite statement belt to it to bring my figure out as its quite baggy as a size 8, but I'm not complaining. I firstly wore the belt as I normally would and then remembered one of my favourite styling tips of belts, the loop tie. I think it looks so fashionista when you loop tie a belt and just adds such a perfect edge to an outfit.

Primark Maxi Dress

Well can you believe these dress is from Primark!!!!?? I know right! I was lucky to find this one. In Derby on saturday (not usually there on a saturday) me and the Mr. were killing time and decided to venture into Primark as it was the closet shop we liked near our bus stop. Coming down the escalator from the mens I spotted something that looked long and had some really nice embroidery on the chest. I quickly ran over "Babe we don't have time for this!!" said my partner. I couldn't believe it was a maxi dress! So gorgeous too and at only £15. How could anyone said no?

I knew this would sell like a house on fire and wouldn't be here the following day, so I snapped up and 8 and ran off to the bus (after paying of course haha). The chest fit really nicely but the waist was a little too tight for comfort so I went back a few days later for a 10 and of course, they sold out of the dress instantly. I came back a week later and found a 10 hiding behind some other maxi's, score! Except the bust is quite loose now. Oh well, can't have everything aye. I'm, I think, 5'2-5'3ft and this dress is perfect, it only just lifts off the floor so it won't turn completely black haha and with the chunky sole sandals I wore, it will be all graveyyyy.


If you follow my blog you will know that I wear my Topshop blush hat to death and its certainly getting its wear. I know soon enough it would need replacing, so when I saw this blush hat I snapped it up too! (they sold out as quick as the dress!) I have to say that I do prefer the Topshop one because its really lightweight and floppy where as the Primark hat is thicker and structured, but its still lobely jubbly, really love the bow detail on Primark hats too.

Festival Whites

This dress is adorable!!!!! I love the embroidered detail so much, such a sweet perfect detail. Walking around the shop I grabbing a few things, not realising this was a petite dress. After trying it on it was perfect! I was worried the chest area would be to loose but it was a great fit! The little ladies were snug as a bug in a rug. No need for me to be conscious of showing off my bra, boob or nipple!

After taking it off I realised it was a petite but I didn't care because it fit perfectly. I was told that petite is only different in length, being shorter, however I didn't see a difference with this dress, it cover me up fine and my bum sticks out but that was still fine. I put it on save and went to get it on uniform the next morning only to be told its been moved but I didn't have time to fetch it!! So frustrated. I quickly tried a normal size 8 on (not petite) but I found the bust to be quite loose! So I got a fellow colleague to radio about for the saves rail and luckily it was still there.

Anyway... Its one of my favourite pieces right now and its perfect for a festival look! Although I'm sure it won't last long in the filth of a festival now ay' I think it was £38.

I have had these real leather boots for a while now and I feel like the leather looks over worn, in a bad way... I really want the Topshop brown pointed toe boots, they are perfect but I certainly cannot afford everything and its not boots season now, so I just couldn't convince myself even if I did have money. For now the black boots add to a festival look. Can you see yourself rocking this dress with some black DR. Martins? OH YESSSSS

Double Denim for Summer Vibes

Tying a shirt around my tummy has also been a go to styling thing for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes I look like a hooker haha. This time it worked fabulous and I have fallen in love with another Double Denim look, this time the kind of summer edition. I had a few compliments at work on this outfit too but I was wearing a black velvet Topshop bralet instead at that point.

I think I mentioned before that I would never ever go for this dark type of denim however with blonde hair its working a treat for me! This shirt is really soft, comfy and lightweight. It doesn't feel like a denim shirt but is more likely made to look like one.

My trusty levis shorts, I have always adored these. They are my go to shorts in the summer but unfortunately as I have lost so much weight since UNI they are very baggy! but they still look really nice. Definitely on the look this year for a new pair though.

The crochet bralet, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WAS ONLY £5! Its such a staple piece for this summer and such an amazing bargain! Missguided have released their bralet too and its so gorgeous! I want both :'( but I doubt I'll have money for Missguided before it sells out! The only thing I am worried about this bralet is the strap, its avery thin piece of string (the halter neck tie) holding onto the bralet piece and I could see it pulling and snapping with wear so I'll be keeping my eyes on it!

The aztec necklace is just not being give justice in these pics. I love this necklace simply because of the aztec print giving off those festival summer vibes and then a sweet little misty bullet on the end.

I have fallen so hard for tassels this year. I loved them last year but not as much as this year! I just recorded a Coachella inspired lookbook and every outfit had an item of tassel in it. 

Again, I fall in love with this top when I saw it in Primark. Crochet and tassels in one? OH MYYY MYYY MYYYYYY and only for £8! HEAVEEEENNNN. I didn't buy it at first because I found the small quite baggy and there wasn't any XS, so I waited and waited and they came back! Snatched it up and I cannot wait to wear it to death haha. Its so lightweight and comfy.

I saw this skirt on an email from Ark Clothing as a two piece set. I really wanted a tassel/fringe skirt but I couldn't find some nice ones and I had set my heart to finding a nude one but so far no luck. 20% student discount is currently going on over at Ark Clothing so I thought I would give the suede sweetheart a go and I love it so much, still really really want a nude on because the idea of black in summer puts me off but its such a lovely fit and the suede doesn't make me cringe, if you know what I mean? its very subtle and obviously fake but I love it!

The H&M bag will be featured again next week on a post. I shot a few with it on but I felt like i had too much tassel, could there be such a thing? haha After seeing the pics on my laptop, I don't care about how much tassel there is 'too much is not enough' :P

What year would you say this outfit falls into? I kind of feel quite 70s but I don't know if thats simply because I am loving that trend at the moment.

I bought these trousers on last chance a while ago and I have never got around to blogging them. They look soooooo much better in person, the pictures just are not doing them justice. They are like a cigarette trouser but they are fairly high waisted and I can't pin point what the material is but its really clingy to the body which makes my bum look fabulous, so I just had to of course haha! They are really lightweight and super comfy!

I paired them up with my nude turtle neck, also really hard to capture on camera, to create the 'statement' trouser attire and then added some subtle accessories to build up the nude funnel neck.
Its a really soft, comfy and light weight OOTD and will be great for those gloomy summer days!

Double Denim

Feeling invisible in double denim haha. Adore this little combo of blended denim. I have always loved some double denim action but never really liked the combos I attempted but I just grab everything I like in Topshop every now and then and whack on what I have and sometimes fab creations come to piece.

I am usually one who stays far far far away from a dark denim just simply because it doesn't suit my pale complexion and dark hair but I don't have dark hair anymore, its blonde so I can get away with it and that has certainly pleased me! I feeling more flexible in outfit construction as a blog. Usually I would stay away from black to but its all good now :)
The shirt is really comfy and lightweight. Although it says MOTO Topshop in the label, which I assumed was Topshop's denim range (real denim e.g. jeans...) The shirt isn't actually made of denim it just has that look and smell! It smells so weird which I guess is the dyes put into it to make it looks like a denim wash. Quite surprised at the price too as I was think it would £40 but it was £32, which is pretty decent for Topshop!

Love this Pinafore!! Always a sucker for pinafores because they are so girly, feminine, just love them! haha. I had my typical Topshop fight with this though! A size 8 was great around the waist but I just couldn't get my bum in it! and that also made the denim pull at the front making a bum where my tummy laid. So I got the size 10 and I am still unsure because It looks really baggy and as It will be something for summer too, with a crop top the pinafore is going to look massive! I have had 'well its supposed to look baggy' comments of fellow Topshop members but also from my partner! which I was surprised at so that has given me a confident thought. This is denim and again it is really lightweight, so much comfier this way!
