Its a Blush Thing Really.

Thursday, 4 June 2015

Top - RiverIsland
Shorts - Vero Moda
Hat - Topshop (last year)
Shoes - Topshop sale
Bag - HM

Okay, so I go crazy every time I shot. Frustration gets the most of me and as it takes me sooooo long to shoot I loose a bit of sanity every time, THEN, my crazy honest side comes out. The third picture from the bottom I would describe as 'how I feel when I find something I love!' OHHH MMMMYYYY GAAAAWDDDDDDD ITS TASSLE/FRINGE AND ITS BLUSHHHHHH.

ANYWAY! back to the outfit in general. As I always say, I am in luuurrrrrvvveeee with this outfit. When I first saw this top, I think around february, I had to have it! It was £38 but I patiently waited in hope for a deal and student discount came along :D I thought I was going off it but after wearing it again, its the best monochrome piece I may ever own/have seen.

The shorts are current from Vero Moda. I was just about to put my foot on the escalator, with people starting to pile behind me when I saw it and dodged though the crowd. At a adorable price of £20, no was not an answer. I find it really difficult to find a good pair of linen shorts, you know with the right material and not so see through! These were fabulous, so soft but unfortunately they are a little bit see through but no more then wearing white pants with a white skirt kind of thing. They are unbelievably comfy!! I can't get over it! They also crease like a biatch though but I don't care. Love em'

Grid print and nude

Top - Topshop
Trousers - Topshop
Sunglasses - Topshop
Shoes - Primark
Necklace - Crystal Divide

What year would you say this outfit falls into? I kind of feel quite 70s but I don't know if thats simply because I am loving that trend at the moment.

I bought these trousers on last chance a while ago and I have never got around to blogging them. They look soooooo much better in person, the pictures just are not doing them justice. They are like a cigarette trouser but they are fairly high waisted and I can't pin point what the material is but its really clingy to the body which makes my bum look fabulous, so I just had to of course haha! They are really lightweight and super comfy!

I paired them up with my nude turtle neck, also really hard to capture on camera, to create the 'statement' trouser attire and then added some subtle accessories to build up the nude funnel neck.
Its a really soft, comfy and light weight OOTD and will be great for those gloomy summer days!

Monochrome Jump

Thursday, 12 February 2015

Jumpsuit - DEPOP
Blazer - Primark (currently in-stores)
Choker - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Bank Fashion & Primark Brogues
Hat - Primark

I have only ever owned a jumpsuit once in my life and I don't actually remember wearing it. When I saw this one on DEPOP for £8, bargain! I couldn't say no but I am thinking again in regards to wearing it. I do crave jumpsuits I just don't think I have found the right one yet! I think this jumpsuit would look amazing with a longline/duster blazer! I think It might just balance it out for me. I think the main thing I struggle with is foot wear! As you can see above I change my footwear from some Bank Fashion shoes to Primark Brogues.. I don't link either! I think in the end I prefer the Bank Fashion shoes however... just still not quite right as Goldilocks says.

I teamed this jumpsuit up with the best blazer I have ever found. Just like the Jumpsuit I love blazers but I find it rare to find one that is justtttt right! This one has a cute scallop hem, no padding in the shoulder (which I much prefer!) and a nice rounded neck line. I think this one was £15 and is 1000000% times better then one I brought from Primark for £25 and never wore.

I couldn't decide on necklace here either as you can see I started with a thick black choker then to a thin silver low hanging choker. I am in two minds, I like the thick black because it feels like its as much a statement as the jumpsuit but then again I dislike it for that reason also and prefer the other for its minimal blend. Decisions, Decisions!!

Cutesy Checks

Thursday, 13 November 2014

Shirt - Topshop
Pinafore - Primark (old)
Shoes - Primark
Frilly Socks - Topshop
Hat - Primark (new)

Here is one of the many ways to wear this check shirt. I have made a video which should be up on my channel : www.youtube.com/cravingclothes latest of monday (hopefully). I will also be doing some written blog, only a few in comparison to the many looks on the video. The shirt is just so perfect for my wardrobe as I think I said when I first posted about this shirt.

Here is how I would wear the shirt with a black pinafore and such a cutesy frilly socks and brogues. I think it all adds up to such a cute outfit. What do you think?
I would recommend getting a black pinafore, I think its such a staple piece for any wardrobe. Or for the current season maybe try a jumpsuit? that would look just as fabulous, maybe not as cute though!

Grid layers

Grid top - Topshop
Fluffy Crop Knit - Topshop (last year)
Wet Look Leggings - Topshop
Hat - Topshop (summer)
Shoes - La Moda

This is the best top ever! haha. I never do well when it comes to square prints in contrast to my face, no idea why. This print is slightly faded, its not as strong in its black as it could be and plus in the edges of each square there is a faded edge that blends into the next, overall making a fairly subtle square pattern.

This piece I find is very versatile. At least for my wardrobe, I don't know about yours. I recommend ALWAYS getting a shirt from Topshop's tall section, or any tall section really, because, although this top already has a dip hem, having it in tall means the hem definitely cover my bum and a bit more of my front in comparison to the regular size. Thanks to this I can have it covering my bum for leggings such as these wet look ones which I bought a year ago but I hear you can get some from Topshop now and also from Primark! I am going to be posting this shirt again with various others ways you can style it! And I will also have a video on it next week :)

I can't decided between having the fluffy crop knit on or off, so I provided both for you guys. I think I prefer it on just because its a lovely layering outfit. Also, I folded the sleeve up over the fluffy knit to show it off more.
