Boho Cold Shoulder

Thursday, 18 June 2015

Dress - Primark
Floral Garland - Primark
Bag - Primark
Shoes - Topshop (You could find similar in Primark but I like these better)

Its a fabulous Primark outfit for a total of £23 (ish, I can't remember how much the Garland was...) When I spotted this Primark dress it looked like a beautiful summer bargain! With some bohemian vibes in there somewhere. For £13 I couldn't say no. Before trying it on I expected the lacey middle to visible and the statement piece to the dress but it wasn't, it crupples up and lets the top over lay. So after I let go of the fact the lace wouldn't do as I thought, I loved how the top layered over. I bought a size 6 because I preferred the fitting figure to it, however the 8 was practically better because it covered my bum properly :'L This size 6 only just covers it with its floaty behaviour. Shorts underneath secure any exposure and to be honest you can't actually see my shorts so its relatively long enough. ANYYYYwayyy... My second favourite bit of the dress is the cold shoulder! Off shoulder and cold shoulder is 'on trend' so to speak at the moment and I adore off the shoulder but I don't like it on myself because I have broad shoulder, however the cold shoulder design is perfect as it distracts from the shoulders and onto the edge.

This bag is yet another brilliant bargain! When the tan and black came out I was constantly telling myself, don't get it, you don't need it, take control woman! And I did, really well. However a week later, as it got warmer, I realised I was carrying a lot of little bits to school with me when I pick my son up and I couldn't hold them all in my hand with possibility of loosing or dropping them. So I went to get the black on (as it goes better with my wardrobe) but they only had the tan left, I was trying to resist the tan because I feel like I have been sucked into the tan trend and I know I won't like it next year. It fits a small drink in there, your phone and bank cards. So not bad, especially for £7.

Lastly, feel like this is a long post! The shoes :) I was planning on buying some tan lace ups that go up to my knees but no one has made any chunky sole ones, waaaaaa :'( I liked the Topshop ones the most but after feeling the sole, it was really hard!! So I felt the sole of this shoe and its really soft and squidgy. I gave them a chance and I love them!!!! Pricey £55 I wouldn't say they are all the worth, the suede stains easy with water. They were rained on, the drizzle kind, so barely anything and they have the marks of the droplets on them! What is that about? I don't know if that I just suede in general...?

Cutesy Checks

Shirt - Topshop
Pinafore - Primark (old)
Shoes - Primark
Frilly Socks - Topshop
Hat - Primark (new)

Here is one of the many ways to wear this check shirt. I have made a video which should be up on my channel : www.youtube.com/cravingclothes latest of monday (hopefully). I will also be doing some written blog, only a few in comparison to the many looks on the video. The shirt is just so perfect for my wardrobe as I think I said when I first posted about this shirt.

Here is how I would wear the shirt with a black pinafore and such a cutesy frilly socks and brogues. I think it all adds up to such a cute outfit. What do you think?
I would recommend getting a black pinafore, I think its such a staple piece for any wardrobe. Or for the current season maybe try a jumpsuit? that would look just as fabulous, maybe not as cute though!

Sailor Whites

Top - Daisy Street
Skirt - SheInside
Shoes - Primark
Choker - Depop

I think I was inspired by Sammi from the 'Beauty Crush' for this look. I am not 100% sure but I remember saying to myself "Oh! I didn't even think of those two things going together." My first thought to team this up with a skirt would be a navy or black pleat (pleats are my fave :D ) but instead I found this look very enlightening so to speak! Certainly brings out the lines and some stronger sailer vibes. Makes my hair pop too :)

This skirt is a dupe of the American Apparel tennis skirt. Although, I think I mentioned in a previous posted, that it does actually have an American Apparel label.. so..... I don't know.

I would usually wear white frilly sock with the shoes and they would go very well with this outfit but both pairs were in the wash, all filthy, so.. just so you know.. haha

Pastel Blue Teddy Coat

Tuesday, 21 October 2014

Coat - George Asda
Dress - Topshop (summer)
Choker - Asos
Boots - LaModa

Last year my goal was to obtain a pink coat. Unfortunately funds got low and I obtain one I was reasonably happy with last year, but I love it this year, maybe its my matching hair? Anyway! This year, as pastel blue is my fave colour, I promised myself to go on the hunt for the RIGHT pastel blue coat and I have to say, although this one is fab, it is not over. This fabulous teddy coat is from George @ Asda. "ITS SO FLUFFY I'M GUNNA DIE!" Honestly so soft and cosy and really warm too! Only at £25 too :O crazy awesome bargains! The coat is quite an oversized size as I am wearing a size 10 and I would need a 6 or 8, just like the Primark teddy coats. Feeling some fluffy cookie monster vibes as well haha

In the end I decided to send it back, although I love it so badly, I know there is a better one coming (BOOHOO {wink wink nudge nudge}) and I cannot wait! hopefully it won't make me look so bulky!

This white dress is from Topshop during the summer. I have never actually worn it and I still haven't. Most likely because I know it will get ruined and its too much of a pretty dress to ruin!

I also got these new LaModa boots. So amazing! I am a little worried because the chunky part is made of foam *confused face* I have no idea how they will react to the rainy weather? And thats what I usually buy boots for! But they are very comfy and give me the lift I need. I bought a size 5 but I think I need a 6 as they are rather snug and cable knit socks (thin-ish) make it fairly uncomfortable.

Faux Joggs

Wednesday, 15 October 2014

Top - Missguided
Joggers - H&M

I have been looking for some faux leather joggers for months and then H&M started selling them so I bombed into there as quick as money could take me haha. I really like these joggers however I feel they should be a bit baggy. They are really thin and for some reason I fee little exposed as such because of so and they don't look so relaxed without being baggy either. Also, at my new job its so hot! I wouldn't last a day in these because they are really warm! great for winter I'd have to say

I returned the joggers and found some by misguided HERE which I am awaiting to buy when payday arrives. I have seen them on blogger Sarah Ashcroft and they looked exactly the same as the H&M fit but I'm hoping for the best with the misguided ones! Plus, they are wet look so hopefully I won't get so hot in them!

Casual Cream

Top - Topshop
Mom jeans - Topshop
Bralet - Missguided

This has to be the most casual outfit I would ever wear! Other then the days where I simply don't care about my dress and just shove on what I'd call below basic. Right now its a vest top, leggings, a knit dress/top and a long thick jacket. Theres is nothing special there.

Guess where I found this top? On DEPOP! it was originally £35 and was still online on Topshop when I brought it for only £15! its so beautiful in its detail. Unfortunately see through but the Missguided bralet sorts that out :) What I love most about thin collared blouses are the collars! perfect for layering in the summer and winter as it doesn't feel like you have anything on underneath anyway and your just using the collar as a detail.

These mom jeans are their old ones. Definitely need to invest in a new pair to be honest as although these are meant to be high-waisted and on my friend they are, on my they don't look like they are high-waisted! My hips are quite high up to be fair but I would love a pair of ripped moms! Oo la la!

Pink Checks

Friday, 3 October 2014

Top  - Missguided
Skirt - Missguided
Choker - Asos

J'Adore this outfit!!! As soon as I saw Missguided A/W collection I fell in love with this skirt! I just think its going to work so well with my already existing A/W wardrobe, especially those fluffy topshop crops I think I mention a lot haha. The skirt goes really nicely with this pink ribbed crop too. A little Clueless vibe as they say.

I am a little confused with the skirt, either it grew in my wardrobe or I lost even more weight... I always buy two sizes when it comes to bottoms. I got a 10 and a 12 and the 10 was a perfect fit but when I put it back on for this blog it looked twice the size! Like I had gone down to a 6! Very confused there! I'm going to blame it logically on my diet (not the skirt) and try to make sure I don't loose anymore weight! I am already a thin lass and I like being a 10-12.

This is definitely going to be a cosy outfit for when the weather actually decides to cool down. I am ready for the cold already!! No more heat, I want my fluffy knits! How about you guys?

You can also find this skirt at Misspap who also have the matching blazer! So cool!

Nautical Vibes

Jeans - Topshop Joni
Shoes - Primark
Hat - Topshop

I have been searching for the right/perfect striped top for a while now. I have been seeing them everywhere (bloggerwise) but everything that was posted was long out of stock :( Finally I found this navy striped top from Daisy street for only £12! My first mission was for a crop short sleeve but as winter is approaching I thought this was better fitting to the temperature, although i may en dup cutting it into a crop :) The material is very soft/silk-like and is a comfy fit.

The trousers WERE black but something must have happened in the washing machine as they turned navy! It was literally there first wash too :/ disappointed Topshop but its more then likely my fault. I usually do a 30min wash on now, dark, clothes so that the colour doesn't transfer but I completely forgot. Now its navy its very suiting for this nautical get up.

The shoes, my god the shoes!!!! I am in love with these brogues, not only are they chunky sole but they are patent too! Im just overly pleased and for £15 I don't see how you can't be happy.

The choker is something I put together from Zoe Danielle's nautical double up, taking the chain from the wheel and put the anchor on it instead. Im so impressed by the many things I can hang off this choker chain haha. I have been hanging my rose quarts from regal rose on it recently and its gorgeous!
